Ten minutes before the end, Nicky Hayne received two yellow cards in just a few seconds. He will miss Club Brugge’s final match against Cercle.
Nerves were tense at the end of the match between Anderlecht and Club Brugge. After a (right) error by Odoi, Hayne protested against the previous stage.
Skov Olsen was then brought down on the edge of the penalty area, but the referee did not budge. Hayen received a yellow card and went on to receive a second yellow card. As a result, the Club Brugge coach will not be on the bench against Cercle Brugge next week.
Social media quickly responded to the photos published by Eleven/DAZN showing Heine in the stands with the necessary communication equipment: βWhat is the point of giving the coach a red card if he is allowed to communicate with the bench?β
The club’s supporters then exploded again after receiving a quick second yellow card from the referee. Geert Verheyen also believes the second yellow card was exaggerated. During the live broadcast, the phrase βThen first give a warningβ was heard.

And how many cards has he already given to Anderlecht… yet they have made so many obvious mistakes… and now he will start drawing cards if they keep the ball a few seconds longer… what a bad goal. ..#andclu

Nice of Lambrechts! A clear foul on Skov by not blowing the whistle and then a quick expulsion under Heine’s nose! #andclu
