We had to wait a while, but it’s finally here. Starbreeze Studios is coming soon with PAYDAY 3, where we pull the mask back on bank robbery. There was already a closed beta this past weekend, so we briefly got to work with the game.

The closed beta wasn’t comprehensive, because we only got access to one site, although you can select some difficulty levels. This way we can test how it played when you had to deal with more cops. PAYDAY 3 can of course be played in co-op with a total of four players. When you can’t find anyone online, the AI ​​will help you, but with friends or a good group of players online, of course, you play the game at its best. Therefore, the successful completion of a heist usually has to do with the team you have.

Teamwork is important, because you can complete the heist in different ways. You can even work in complete silence and steal money without a single person knowing it. This is not easy and you have to communicate a lot with others. A simple mistake can quickly set off an alarm and it’s time to put your mask on. Are you a fan of action? After that, you can of course also start blazing right away, but then of course it will take a little longer and you will have to deal with the police. He can also digest a lot of bullets, even a lot for us. The gunplay is good and the ability to complete the heist in silence is well done.

After each robbery, the money obtained is distributed after settling some expenses. For example, if you kill innocent people, this will be deducted from the amount. With the money earned, you can buy new weapons or tools to be able to complete the next robbery a little better. Experience points allow you to rank up for new unlocks and skill points earned allow you to improve your skills.
