Tonight we welcome the new year together. One person does it during a party, the other with a movie on the couch. FilmTotaal has selected five fun films to close out 2023.
New Year's Eve (2011)

New York is the city of love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and new beginnings. As everyone prepares for the most festive evening of the year, stories of lovers and singles come together. There's the story of an embittered dying man, a frustrated executive secretary, and the producer of the famous New Year's Eve parade in Times Square.
Prom (2020)
Emma wants nothing more than to go to her school's festive end-of-year party with her friend Alyssa, but unfortunately the homophobic Parent Council makes that impossible. When four fading Broadway stars hear Emma's story, they decide to travel to her hometown to help her. However, they do this mainly to enhance their image.
Paddington (2014)
Talking bear Paddington arrives in London, but he imagines the British capital very differently. He eventually found a home with the Brown family. It seems that a good life awaits him there. However, a creepy taxidermist, who wants to include Paddington in her collection, throws a spanner in the works.
Elvis (2022)
When Tom Parker, aka The Colonel, hears Elvis' voice for the first time, he knows he's struck gold. Parker becomes Elvis' manager and together they work on his accomplishments. Elvis grows into a sensation. But all this success has its downsides, too. A series of concerts at a Las Vegas hotel turns what started as a dream into a nightmare.
Back to the future (1985)
Slightly crazy Professor Emmett Brown has built a time travel machine. Seventeen-year-old Marty McFly, who gets along well with him, uses this to return to the past. There he meets his parents in their younger years. However, due to a mistake, he puts his future in danger.
