5 things we already know about Grand Theft Auto 6

Although Rockstar is still talking about the “next GTA” at the moment, it is almost certain that the next GTA will simply be Grand Theft Auto 6. The game will be officially revealed at the beginning of December with a first trailer, but that doesn’t change the fact We already know a little about GTA 6, albeit with a pinch of salt.

1. Main female character

In 2022, Rockstar fell victim to a hack and as a result, early footage of GTA 6’s development appeared online. This brought with it a wealth of information, including the fact that GTA 6 will feature a main playable female character named Lucia.

There will also be a male main character, making the duo appear to be based on American bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde.

2. Vice City with a modern touch

Based on various sources, it is very clear that GTA 6 will return to Vice City, GTA’s version of Miami. This will be a more modern version of Vice City than we are used to in GTA games.

3. Central theft

GTA is of course GTA and if the main characters of GTA 6 are indeed inspired by Bonnie and Clyde, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if the game focuses more on heists, both large and small, than its predecessors.

This is exactly what some rumors are claiming, especially that Rockstar will be focusing more and more extensively on the heist feature that was introduced with GTA 5 for GTA 6.

It is a fact that Rockstar brings technologically pioneering games to the market. 5. Release date

A specific release date for GTA 6 has not yet been set, but thanks to the various pieces of the puzzle we can make a good guess.

One of the most important clues comes from publisher Take-Two Interactive itself. The company has stated several times that it expects a very good fiscal year 2025 and that may have something to do with the release of GTA 6.

Fiscal Year 2025 starts in April 2024 and runs through March 2025, so it’s not at all unlikely that GTA 5 will be released sometime in 2024 or early 2025, especially now that we know that the game will be officially revealed in December.

Overall, a release at the end of 2024 or early 2025 looks very realistic, although we still have to see everything.
