AnderlechtOnce again, Mark Cook, owner of Anderlecht, made his voice heard. He did so on Instagram where he answered several questions. “Of course it remains Sergio Gomez. He is top notch.”
Mark Cook invited his followers on Instagram tonight to submit questions. “On my last day in quarantine, this seemed like my first nice day,” so it sounded. Anderlecht’s owner also answered several questions about Purple & White.
Sergio Gomez has been in the spotlight in recent months. The Spanish left-back scored 5 goals and 11 assists in 21 league matches. Will the strong stand stay with Anderlecht? “Yes of course,” Cook said. Fans will love to hear it.
Whoever is leaving is Ryan Boneda. The 15-year-old super talent has yet to sign a professional contract with RSCA. “I hope he stays. Both for him and for the club. There is nothing nicer than breaking through your youth club and then taking a step higher through the big gate.”
Does Anderlecht still need a boost in a certain situation? I especially hope for stability and for the youth to penetrate. It’s all in good hands with Peter Verbeke, Water Vandenhout and Vincent Kompany.”
The last question: who will be the hero? “Club Brugge (mainly to put pressure on them),” Coucke replied with a wink. But he believes in the title or the cup. “The award will be much appreciated. It will also make our fans very happy.”
