US President Joe Biden arrives in Brussels next Thursday to attend a special NATO summit. He will also attend the first day of the European Summit, which is already scheduled for Thursday and Friday.

Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg announced on Tuesday that a special NATO summit would be held in Brussels. The heads of state or heads of state of all member states meet at the headquarters of the treaty body. “I convened a special summit on March 24 at NATO headquarters,” Stoltenberg said in a statement. “We will discuss the consequences of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, our strong support for Ukraine and the further strengthening of NATO’s defense and defense.”
U.S. NATO envoy and White House spokesman Jen Psi confirmed that President Joe Biden will also attend the special summit. According to Zaki, he will reiterate America’s “cast iron commitment” to NATO, among other things. “At this critical juncture, North America and Europe must stand side by side on NATO,” it said.
Zaki also confirmed that Biden would attend the EU summit that day. It is already scheduled for Thursdays and Fridays.
