Antwerp airline broker expands to US • pilot & aircraft

Antwerp – Aviation Factory Antwerp, an aviation broker who has been a wholly market leader at Penelox for the past two decades, is opening an office near Ford Lauderdale in the United States.

Until now, the aviation industry has operated only in Europe and the Middle East. With the opening of a US office, the company will now be able to more easily design aircraft in North America and the Caribbean. Rod Meyers, an aviation expert with more than 30 years of experience, oversees the day-to-day management of The Aviation Factory USA.

“We already have offices in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. However, the United States has long been on our wish list,” said Carl Legin, CEO of The Aviation Factory. “The advantage of our new location is that we can work almost 24 hours a day. We have US customers coming to Europe for business or vacation and need a reliable airline partner. Some fly across the Atlantic with regular airlines, and we arrange flights designed for them within Europe. On the contrary, our US facility provides access to the best relationships in the industry for our European customers who wish to travel to locations in the US or the Caribbean.

Legin adds: “Even after the corona epidemic, we notice a growing demand for tailor-made aircraft. During that time, many companies and families were introduced to the convenience and safety of private jets for the first time. These new customers seem to continue to choose that comfortable journey.

The Aviation Factory was established in 2000. The group consists of 25 brokers working from 10 countries. They organize more than 4,000 flights each year for product launches, incentives and charters and transportation tailored to conference attendees, ministers, heads of state and other VIPs. In 2021, Antwerp had a combined revenue of .7 30.7 million. Consolidated revenue is expected to exceed 50 50 million this year.
