European Nations League
The Netherlands are still top of the Belgium group in the Nations League, after their victory in Wales. The orange seemed to take the whole booty with his only shot on target, but Wales equalized in overtime. The Welshman only enjoyed this goal for two minutes, because before the whistle blew Weghorst crowned himself by winning the match.
Louis van Gaal sent 11 more players to the Welsh stadium instead of Belgium. There wasn’t much chemistry between the players from “Team B”. Orange was lucky that Wells didn’t give much in return.
With the Dutch’s only shot on target in normal time, Teun Koopmeiners gave his side the lead, although the goalkeeper could be a little weak on the long shot.
That seemed enough to take the win, but Rhys Norrington Davies thought otherwise after two minutes of overtime.
In Wales, the tie was celebrated too grandly, as a result of which Wout Weghorst – who made a sluggish match – was given plenty of space after two minutes to highlight his (header) specialty.
