Christian Lissen, MP for Open-VLD: “My stomach turns when I see majority parties participating in a national demonstration” | the interior

Unions organized a national day of action on Monday in order to increase purchasing power and amend the Wage Standard Act 1996. According to the unions, 80,000 demonstrators descended on Brussels to participate in the national demonstration.

Lissen also criticized some European sanctions against Russia, which “do not help much if we see that they harm us more than Russia,” and noted that “dark clouds are gathering” on the Belgian economy as an entrepreneur. He called for “courageous decisions.”
