SEGA has confirmed the Sonic Frontiers release date at Gamescom. The game will be released on November 8 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S | X. The game is available for PC via Steam and the Epic Game Store.
Yesterday was the release date Leaked before unveiling, but now SEGA has confirmed it themselves. The developer shared a new trailer during Gamescom’s opening night, showcasing the gameplay and part of the Sonic Frontiers story. It shows different types of landscapes and levels, including one reminiscent of the Green Hill area, the first level from Sonic The Hedgehog, which appeared in 1991 for the SEGA Mega Drive.
Customers who pre-order the digital or physical version will receive a number of in-game rewards, including additional XP points and power-ups. There will be two digital versions of the game: the Digital Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition includes the Explorer’s Treasure Chest, which includes makeup It contains Sonic, and it costs 69.99 euros. The digital and physical standard edition of Sonic Frontiers costs €59.99. Little is known about the physical luxury version.
