Movie“Run, forest, run!” Why was there no sequel to the hit movie Forrest Gump in 1994? Actor Tom Hanks, 66, told the British podcast ‘Happy Sad Confused’ that this idea was on the table, but was dropped after only forty minutes.
Tom Hanks on the podcast “Happy Sad Confused” revealed more about a possible sequel to his hit movie Forrest Gump. “I must admit that, after a long time, we did talk about a possible sequel. But that conversation only lasted forty minutes.” “We were like, ‘Come on guys, let’s not do this,'” he continued.
The American actor rarely appears in the sequel, and for good reason. “I’ve never signed a contract that says you have to follow through. I always say, ‘If there’s a reason to do it, we’ll do it. But you can’t force me.'” There’s always that natural tendency to pursue commercial considerations, hoping for another box office success.”
a story
Forrest Gump tells the story of a mentally disabled man named Forrest. Trace his life from his childhood in Alabama, to his adult life in the 1980s. Without realizing it, he goes through some historical moments from the first row. It gives musical inspiration to Elvis Presley and John Lennon, is an attendee of the Vietnam War, is the inventor of the “accidentally” smile and the inspiration for the famous saying “shit happens.” It’s an emotionally charged story, but it also has a light side.
The movie Forrest Gump is based on the book of the same name by Winston Groom from 1986. The movie became one of the best hit films of the 1990s and won no fewer than six Oscars.
