European League
The Belgian meeting in the European League did not result in a winner. Rennes led 2-0, and Fenerbahce came back in the last half hour. Only 2-2 came in overtime.
Fenerbahce – with Michy Batshuayi in the starting line-up – took the lead midway through the first half, but that goal was disallowed.
Shortly after the break, the host team ran a mediocre sprint, leading to a 2-0 win in favor of Arthur Theatt and his buddies.
But Fenerbahce fought and Rin killed himself.
Substitute Jeremy Duques had to finish the final stage with nine of his teammates, and the French paid the price for it.
