In recent years, there have been many Belgian coaches who assert themselves in European competitions. Young Belgian coaches are doing well in our country.
Just think of Carl Hoefkens at Club Brugge or Karel Geraerts at Union. They both have Europe under their feet now. And Philippe Clement’s performance is also not bad in Monaco.
But there is one coach that is baffling everyone right now: Vincent Kompany. The Anderlecht icon moved to Burnley this summer and is currently at the top of the championship.
On Wednesday, Burnley managed to make a crazy turnaround in overtime. On Twitter, some viewers made the comparison to Sir Alex Ferguson, the former Manchester United boss and one of the greatest coaches of all time in the Premier League.
