No tears for the late Aaron Carter, but a true act of comedy during the Backstreet Boys party at Sportspalace | Famous People

Famous PeopleOn Thursday evening, the Backstreet Boys tackled Antwerp Sportpalis for a trip back in time. In addition to singing their most famous songs, the boy band also gave a surprise during – for the time being – the last performance of their “DNA World Tour”. Some of the group members took off their clothes. “We can’t imagine a better place to end our tour.”

Everything seems to indicate that the Backstreet Boys’ latest ‘DNA World Tour’ show at Antwerp Sportpaleis will take a sombre tone, following the death of Nick Carter’s younger brother Aaron Carter last Saturday. But nothing is less true.

Unlike their performance in London, the Backstreet Boys did not pay tribute to Carter during the concert in Antwerp. For a moment, band member Kevin Richardson seemed to be getting emotional, but that’s mainly due to the fact that it was the last show of the DNA World Tour right now. Perhaps the singer was looking forward to returning home soon. “I miss my family,” he said, among other things.

However, the highlight during the ceremony was the comedic work of AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson. “Others are currently changing behind the scenes, so we’re doing it on stage,” AJ began. Then he and Kevin crawled behind a large screen that was on stage, after which they both took off their pants. Then AJ came out from behind the screen and walked in his knickers: “I have a small but cute ass,” he joked. Moments later he hid behind the screen again, after which AJ said, “We used to throw a lot of underwear and bras at us.” “Now we want to return the favor,” he added. He and Kevin took off their underwear after this statement and threw them into the audience. The fans, in turn, went completely crazy.

The band closed off the song “I Want It That Way”. They sang “You are fiery…Belgium”. During the song, Howie Dorough appeared on stage with a Belgian flag cheerfully fluttered around him and then placed around his neck. “We will definitely be back,” the band concluded.
