This includes an overhaul of the widgets panel experience with a larger canvas (3 columns if supported by the device) and new areas to give users quick access to organized widgets for their apps and services and to enable users to create a higher quality break with their personal feed.
Adaptive content brightness control (CABC) is already a familiar feature for users. This feature in Windows 11 darkens or brightens parts of the screen or display based on the content displayed, with the goal of striking a balance between low power consumption and a visual experience to conserve battery life. “As of this release, we allow this feature to run on devices such as laptops and 2-in-1s connected to a charger, as well as desktop computers. For most users, this change will not be noticeable and will reduce power consumption.
