From 5 April, Hecht GGD Hollands Midden will open co-injection sites at nine locations across the region where visitors can receive their HPV and COVID-19 vaccinations. This can be done with or without an appointment. This is also the case in Alphen aan den Rijn.
This way anyone who wants and qualifies can get these vaccines easily and nearby. Combined injection sites are open through June 2023.
HPV and Corona virus vaccines
From 5 April, the following vaccinations will be available free of charge at injection sites at Hecht GGD Hollands Midden without appointment:
- Vaccination against human papilloma virusThis vaccination is only available to young people born between January 1, 1996 and December 31, 2003 who have not been (fully) vaccinated against HPV. This virus can cause cancer of the mouth, throat, anus, penis, vagina, labia, and cervix. The vaccination consists of two shots six months or more apart. It is important to get your first injection before July 1; Only then are both injections free for this target group. It is not necessary to make an appointment, but you can do so via www.hpvafspraak.nl.
- Corona Basic Series: For anyone 12 years of age or older who has not yet been vaccinated against Corona or who has not yet completed the basic series. An appointment is not necessary, but can be done via 0800 – 7070.
- Corona repeats the shotRepeat shot: A repeat shot is available to anyone 12 years of age or older who has not had a repeat shot after September 18, 2022. An appointment is not necessary for this either, but can be done by www.planjeprik.nl.

From April 5, visitors can receive HPV and/or Corona vaccines upon presentation of valid identification at nine injection sites, if they qualify. Dates and times may change. Therefore, always check the latest information before leaving www.ggdhm.nl/vaccinatielocaties-hpv-en-corona. This webpage also contains more information about injectable vaccines.
One of these nine locations is at the Nieuwe Sloot Tennis Club (Kees Mustersstraat entrance), President Kennedylaan 1. You can go there every Wednesday in April, May and June from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Other locations are in Gouda, Katwijk, Leiden, Lisse, Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, Noordwijk, Roelofarendsveen and Schoonhoven.
