Meet MS information at SJG Weert

On Wednesday 21 June, SJG Weert, together with the MS Society of North and Central Limburg, is organizing an information meeting on multiple sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis patients and their loved ones are warmly welcome to register.

MS SJG Weert Meeting

During this meeting, current developments in the field of MS will be discussed, from the viewpoint of different healthcare providers. There is plenty of room for questions.

The following topics are covered:

ASITT (Adult Sensory Integration Carpenter Therapy)
Sensory integration is the seamless collaboration in your body between seeing, feeling, hearing, smelling, tasting, and moving. With MS there can be disturbed processing of stimuli, with complaints such as dizziness, difficulty concentrating and being quickly startled by light, noise and crowds, for example. ASITT is a treatment method to reduce these complaints.

MS News
The latest news in the field of multiple sclerosis.
Speakers: Neurologists Harry Lovench and Tim Allman.

Network and clinical measurements
Climatology is a collective term for the many tests that can be used in MS. This measures movement, tension, and strength of muscles and joints.
Speakers: Physiotherapists Amy Dick and Heidi Jaspers.

Molly suit
The Molli prosthesis is a personal assistant medical device used to relieve symptoms of neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and spinal cord injury.
Speaker: Rehabilitation physician Anneke van Druenen.
