Partial dressage: Belgium finished fifth and big point shorter than medals | Games for people with special needs

Belgium’s Paradressage team missed a medal at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. With the gold Michael George and the bronze Manon Claes, he has allowed our country to have ambition. Together with Barbara Minneci he became fifth, behind the podium.

The first day of yesterday’s team competition was dedicated to first, second and third class riders. Barbara Minneci (III) set a score of 72.265, good for a provisional 14th.

Today, the individual medal winners started with Michel George and Manon Claes. George (5th) scored the highest score of 77,093. Thus, Belgium advanced to occupy the tenth place, with a score of 73,825 points from the last rider Manon Claes (the fourth), the team reached 223,137 points.

In doing so, Belgium just missed the US bronze (224,352), which narrowly beat Denmark (224.324). Gold and silver were far away. Great Britain won with a score of 229,905, slightly ahead of the Netherlands (229,249).
