The most popular member of Anne’s family, Meghan’s esteem is at an all-time low
William and Catherine (both 41), the Prince and Princess of Wales, are no longer at the top of the list of Britain’s most beloved royals. They have to give up the top spot in YouGov’s monthly popularity poll to Princess Anne (72).
King Charles’ sister and William’s aunt are among the most diligent members of the royal family due to her large number of official appointments. Last year alone, she made 214 appointments, more than any other family member.

After Anne, William and Catherine, Charles is fourth. His popularity has declined slightly since he took power in September last year.
The popularity of Meghan Markle (41) in the UK is at an all-time low. According to the survey, about seven out of ten Britons have a negative image of the Duchess of Sussex.
Madeleine has not yet returned to Sweden
Swedish Princess Madeleine, 41, the youngest daughter of King Carl Gustav, is postponing her return to her native country until next year. She has lived mainly in the United States for thirteen years.
Earlier this year, the Stockholm court announced that Madeleine would move with her family from Florida to Sweden this summer. She wants her children Leonor (9 years old), Nicholas (8 years old) and Adrian (5 years old) to grow up in Sweden. The move was scheduled for August so her daughters and son could start at their new school after the holidays.

A palace spokesman said Madeleine and her British-American husband Chris O’Neill, 49, have now decided they have little time to arrange everything. Because of the changed plans, the kids will still be attending school in Florida next school year.
She met King’s daughter Chris in New York in 2011, where their first daughter, Leonor, was born in 2014. They also lived in Stockholm and London. In 2018 they moved to Florida.
The royal palace is closed this year
The Royal Palace in Brussels will remain closed to the public this summer for renovations. The facade will be renewed and the 700 windows will be better insulated.
Day-to-day work continues at the palace – for example, last week King Philippe and Queen Mathilde entertained Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. But it is impossible to receive hordes of tourists.

However, it has been tradition since the late 1960s for the monarch to open his workplace after the national holiday on 21 July until the end of August. Last year it attracted 70,000 visitors. The next opening is planned for summer 2024.
Grand Duchess Maria Theresa in Natan Levant
Grand Duchess Maria Theresa, 67, wore an outfit fit for a garden party for the Luxembourg royal family: a white dress with images of green leaves. She had bought it from Nathan.
Maria Theresa has been a client of designer Edouard Vermeulen’s Brussels fashion house for years, just like Queens Mathilde and Máxima. This dress is for sale online for €745.

The “garden party” was an offshoot of the national holiday and took place at Berg Castle, the principal residence of the grand ducal couple in the commune of Colmar-Berg. Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Theresa (68 years old) entertained 300 guests, from politicians to civil servants and business leaders to personalities from the cultural sector.
Christian gets a driver’s license
Danish Prince Christian (17) has passed his driving test. Crown Prince Frederick’s son and Crown Princess Mary are now allowed to hit the road, though not on their own. At the moment, he must be accompanied by an adult over thirty years of age who has also held his driver’s license for ten years.
Denmark’s traffic law states that only people over eighteen years of age can drive “unsupervised”. Although Christian doesn’t have to wait long for that: He will turn 18 on October 15th. throne after his father, Crown Prince Frederick (55). One day he will become King of Denmark, and his grandmother Margrethe (83) is still the head of state.
