BVBad news for Portland fans. In an Instagram message, singer Jente Pironet, 32, said his band has to end the summer festival early because he has health problems. “Very few powerful physicians in our beautiful country have discovered traumatic brain injuries.”

The singer begins, “I have a great deal of regret and sadness in my heart that I unfortunately have to announce that due to health reasons I will have to end our summer festival early.” A few powerful doctors in our beautiful country have discovered brain injuries that need to be treated as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this means we have to hit the pause button to focus on physical and mental health.”

The Portland singer promises fans the band will be there again this fall with “the strongest concert series we’ve ever played.” Jente also thanks his followers for all their support. “We ask that you respect our privacy and quiet,” he continues. “See you soon, Portland forever.”

In the meantime, your music continues to blast through your speakers” and “I wish you the best team and tons of love to get through this well. At the beginning of this month, Portland was still in Rock Werchter. It was the first time that the band played a concert on a large scale with their new vocalist, Nina Kortekas. The latter received a standing ovation at The Barn at the time. “I want to tell you a lot, it was a special six months,” Peroni said at the time. “But I’m lucky because I have the best band, crew, and friends. All the amazing people who are there for me. Life is a big party, but I had a weird period…but we’ll stop being sad.”
