Hazes and Westenberg took their page on a trip to the US in May last year. People on social media were already wondering at the time if it was even possible, since it wasn’t a school holiday. Westenberg responded by saying that “private businessman(s) may apply to leave outside of the holidays.” It was later leaked via Yvonne Coldeweijer’s juice channel that they would not have this permission.

This past June, Hazes responded to the issue on “RTL Boulevard.” He said he would take for granted that he would have to go to court because of this. “I can’t say it, but I take the consequences with a lot of love,” said the singer. He stated that his relationship with Westenberg had been good again since the respective vacation to the United States. “Because of that journey, we’re the way we are now and I have the happiest baby on earth,” said the singer. “He sees his father and mother happy and that started with that journey.”

OM provides no further details about the case, which will take place behind closed doors at the request of Hazes and Westenberg. The judge agreed to this on privacy grounds, in part because 6-year-old Andrei is very young.
