The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is receiving an August security update

Samsung is providing more and more devices with the August security update. Now it’s time for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. The three models in the range have been updated with the latest security patch.

Galaxy S21 series with the August update

After the Galaxy S20 FE series and the Galaxy S22 series, it is now the Galaxy S21 series’ turn for an update. Mark tells DroidApp that his smartphone will be updated with the August security update. The new update addresses some Android security vulnerabilities. In addition, Samsung has also prepared its own patches that are integrated with the update.

The update can be downloaded for Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The Galaxy S21 FE is in a different cycle and will be updated with an update at a later date. As far as we know, no new functions or major changes have been implemented. When you can download the update, you will receive a notification on your smartphone. You can also manually check for updates through the menu with Settings > Software update.
