The Galaxy S line has been Samsung’s flagship smartphone range for years. The Galaxy S24 series is expected to debut in about six months, again in three versions: the 6.1-inch S24, the 6.6-inch S24+, and the 6.8-inch S24 Ultra. What has been leaked already about the new Samsung phones?

Flat sides and titanium frame

One notable change is Samsung replacing the curved screen edges with flat sides. The switch to such a flat screen was reported by the well-known “phone leak”. com. Chipsets: Exynos and Snapdragon

Last year, all Galaxy S23 phones worked with a Snapdragon chip, but this year Samsung will be using both the new Exynos 2400 and the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Snapdragon is a special version for “For Galaxy”. But we won’t get that in Europe when the new Exynos chip is introduced, because Samsung usually puts that particular chip in S phones that are released here.

The new Exynos 2400 gets a 10-core CPU and twice the graphics power of the Exynos 2200. Like the new Snapdragon, the Exynos 2400 only supports 64-bit applications.

The 50MP telephoto camera in particular is a huge upgrade over the 10MP telephoto camera in S23 Ultra.

The S24 and S24+ may have the same cameras as their predecessors, or just minor modifications. The selfie cameras on all three phones will be the same as on the S23 as well.

Up to 2TB of storage?

The S24+ gets a slightly larger battery: 4,900mAh instead of 4,700mAh. Ultra is again a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Details about the S24’s battery have not yet leaked. The S24 Ultra will appear in versions with 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage, and with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. But there is a rumor that Samsung will also release a different version with a minimum storage capacity of 2TB.

New satellite function
