“I wish there was a deeper meaningful story behind it, but Lola was actually the name of my first car when I moved to California. Lola became a nickname for me, and when it came time to name my car I found it,” Jennifer said. She added to the “CR Fashion Book.”
The decision to name her car Lola did not come out of nowhere. She previously revealed to People that Sarah Vaughan’s song “What Lola Wants” could have definitely played a role in this. “I named my car Lola on the spot. Maybe because I love that song. Every time I passed by they would say: ‘Lola is here.’
It’s now been about two years since Jennifer founded the brand. “Today marks the official launch of LolaVie, a small idea that has grown into a line that makes your hair look healthy and look effortless,” the actress wrote in the announcement on Instagram. “Our products are made with plant-based, natural ingredients and are free of parabens, silicones, sulfates, phthalates and gluten… And of course we are vegan and Cruelty free (Cruelty Free)!”
