Osbourne has had health problems for years. The beginning of his ordeal was a fall in 2019, when he had to go to the toilet at night. The fall caused him to again suffer from the injury he suffered in a quad bike accident in 2003. He went under the knife three times for this. The English singer now explains to the magazine that doctors discovered a tumor in his spine during one of those surgeries on his back. “It was really a blow. The second operation went very wrong and left me completely paralyzed.”
He thought he would “get back on his feet” after all the surgeries. “But during the last time, they put a rod into my spine. They found a tumor in one of the vertebrae, so they had to extract it completely as well. It is very difficult,” he confirms.
Osbourne was also unable to receive the “Icon Award” from Rolling Stone magazine UK during the ceremony held in London on Thursday. So his wife, Sharon, did that for him. At the beginning of this year, the singer announced that he would stop touring permanently. Not long after, Ozzy suddenly had plans to perform again, but his health problems once again put an end to that. The main question remains whether the singer will eventually return
