Once again, ZSGOWMS, just like the last round, drew against an opponent. And then they tied 1-1 The mostand now there was a similar result against the Antepler team in Rotterdam.
The Rotterdam Students Association, which is not known to many in the competition, participates in the summit. During a visit to Sportpark Ookmeer, ZSGOWMS coach Jethro Abram saw that the Rotterdammers team came there to play football. The two teams were equal, but the home team had the greatest opportunity in the first half. Noureddine El Harouni had possession of the ball and had space to run. However, he slammed too hastily. It could have been more for the home team. The host team’s coach said: “Antebarbari became a little stronger in the first half, but we also remained dangerous in the last moments.”
About ten minutes after the break ZSGOWMS suffered a setback. A cross from the side was crossed by Antibarbari, but ZSGO goalkeeper Tamba dos Santos went under the ball. This allowed Niels de Visser to turn the scoreline to 0-1. We got upset about that and stopped playing football. “We started using the long ball, but we immediately got it back from the opponent.” The staff decided to change and bring new powers to the team. The Amsterdam team started playing more attackingly again and looked for an equaliser. A few minutes before the end, one of Rotterdam’s players suffered a serious injury, but that gave ZSGOWMS enough time to prepare for the final attack. The attack succeeded. Because defender Ferris Enyeama won the header. Then the ball reached Thiago dos Santos. The ball was passed and shot powerfully by Gervino Zefuik.
In the final stage, both teams searched for the winning goal, but the score 1-1 remained on the scoreboard. As a result of this draw, ZSGOWMS tied for the fourth time in the competition, but the Amsterdam team remains unbeaten. An away match against FC Abcoud awaits next week.
