celebritiesIt is the time of year when many families come together. This year's holiday may also bring Britney Spears (42 years old) back to her sister Jamie Lynn (32 years old). Insiders tell The Sun that Britney wants to reach out to her sister in a bid to finally bury the hatchet.
Britney Spears and her sister Jamie Lynn had a truly hellish relationship. Things have been difficult between the two for years. Britney claims that Jamie Lynn hurt her badly. According to the “Toxic” singer, her sister is complicit in her father's conservatorship, which Spears had to endure for many years.
Jamie Lynn recently took part in the TV show “I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”, where a group of celebrities have to live together in harsh conditions with little comfort. According to a source, Britney supported her sister and watched the episodes as well. “The few times Jamie talked about her sister on the show were always positive.” When Jamie Lynn was asked about their relationship, she said, “I think every family fights and has their little secrets, but we are still a family and we love each other.”
For Britney, Christmas seems to be the perfect opportunity to forget the problems of the past. “Britney spent some time with her mom over the summer, and now she wants to see if she can do the same with Jamie Lynn,” the source said.
