What a waste of that last second. At a sold-out Wembley Stadium, the Red Devils looked to have overcome superpower England. Youri Tielemans scored both goals, and Romelu Lukaku provided a brilliant assist for the second. National coach Domenico Tedesco then watched Belgium fight back and almost survive… until Bellingham took the last chance in the 95th minute.
What was it all about at Wembley?
If the match against England presented itself as an exciting test for the Red Devils towards the European Championship, it scored a distinction in terms of display value – especially for a training match.
Tedesco appeared to have made the safe choice with Youri Tielemans as number 10, but nothing turned out to be further from the truth. Finally, the midfielder played another reference match in the Belgian jersey, winning with two goals.
His first goal came after just 11 minutes. Tielemans was coldly punished by England goalkeeper Pickford's dramatic football out of bounds.
And the second number? This will remain in the collective memory mainly because of Romelu Lukaku's assist. Usually he is the man who scores goals, but in the 36th minute, the striker suddenly sent a brilliant cross into De Bruyne's style from the left.
The English team, who booed en masse before kick-off when Lukaku's name was mentioned at Wembley Stadium, was quickly appeased.
Miss Bellingham's turning point
Big Rom's trick was a 1-2 win that saw the Devils go to rest.
Because England – a solid team despite the large number of injuries – will put great pressure on the Belgian defense several times in the first half.
Four minutes after Tielemans' opener, the home team had already equalized after Toni's penalty goal was brought down by Vertonghen. The record international thought he had handled the ball, but the referee and VAR did not.
Even in the first half, Debast was lucky to deal with Bellingham's cross and it didn't go in. VAR also saved the day by disallowing a goal from a header by Bowen.
What can we say about Bellingham's chance after Onana's serious loss of the ball, about 3 minutes before Lukaku took his shot? He didn't miss much with Real Madrid this season.
It was the turning point in the party.
Fight, but just don't survive
Even after the break, the match between England and Belgium will be interesting, but a little less inspiring. This is mainly due to the lack of goals.
However, the home team had plenty of opportunities to do so. While the first half was still relatively balanced, the Devils now had to be more defensive.
Toney shot into the side netting, Foden saw Debast throw himself in front of his shot with complete dedication, Bellingham missed another great chance, and then there was the brilliant Matz Szils.
The goalkeeper made himself more emphatic as a potential European Championship winner in London with a number of excellent saves. Foden and Maino, among others, witnessed attempts blocked by Sales.
Tedesco loved seeing it all happen in front of the famous Wembley dugout. His Devils showed that they can fight and survive against a top team supported by 80,000 fans.
By sometimes flashing and always fighting, the Belgians believed they could secure a historic first victory in England.
Until Bellingham showed itself efficiently in the last second of the match, beating Seals 2-2.
From a big boost to a small loss, though, the national coach will certainly not forget all the positive things.
Stage after stage

The Red Devils ended the match with a bitter aftertaste. The first win over England on English soil looked as good as could be, but in extra time, Bellingham were still holding England together. On the whole, a well-deserved draw, because in the second half an excellent goal was needed for the home team to have numerous chances.

England still does it! Bellingham were given too much space in the box and, with a pass from Maddison, slotted the ball past Sales. How frustrating for the Belgians.
Bellingham continues to make the Belgian XVI side nervous. He swings in from an acute angle, but his attempt ends up with a corner through Weiss. This yields nothing.
Lukabakio leaves her
The Red Devils missed the chance to finally settle the game with a quick counter-attack. Doku made it 1-3 for Alukibakio, but he fired the ball over the goal with one kick. He should have done better here, he missed the opportunity.

England still had four extra minutes to equalise. So let's stay focused on the demons.
After Doku lost the ball, England quickly changed their approach. Foden is able to enter the penalty area but collides with Vertonghen there. The Belgians clearly have no intention of handing this over.
On the way to scoop?
It may just be a training match, but the Red Devils are on course for first place. They could never beat England on English soil. Or is the devil still in the tail?
Time is slowly running out for England if they are to avoid defeat on home soil. In this case, the home team continues to take the most initiative.
Three substitutions
Another big change in the Belgians' crew for the final stage. Batshuayi, Obinda and Weiss were dropped into the squad. Mangala, Lukaku and Debast were taken into the side.
