Club Brugge expects millions from France

Club Brugge expects millions from France

Club Brugge is cleaning up the squad for next season. Several players are allowed to leave the club. Vitout Maassa is one of those names.

The French left-back played on loan at Spanish side Granada last season and still has a contract at the Jan Breydel Stadium until 2025 with a market value of four million euros.

Club Brugge put four million euros on the table in 2021 and picked up the promising Frenchman from Stade Rennais. However, the left winger never managed to settle in Club Brugge. Now Blauw-Zwart Maouassa wants to sell all the tickets in the summer market.

The France youth international played on loan last season with Montpellier, RC Lens and FC Granada respectively. The defender appears unable to count on playing minutes for the Belgian champions this season either.

The solution is on the way

But it seems that the solution is on its way. According to latest news Maussa is on his way to France, with Ligue 1 clubs eyeing his services. The 26-year-old defender made just 13 appearances last season, scoring once and providing two assists.

Musa isn’t the only player leaving who could earn millions. Roman Yaremchuk is also surplus to requirements at Club Brugge, but so far no progress has been made. Turkish side Trabzonspor had millions available for the Ukrainian, but Yaremchuk remains a liability for now.
