Anderlecht are keeping particularly quiet in the transfer market, perhaps too quiet. The purple and white team wanted to strengthen themselves with a Dutch midfielder, but it turned out to be too expensive.
The situation remains particularly quiet at Anderlecht this summer. The Purple & Whites have yet to complete any incoming transfers, but they have already seen the departure of Zino Debast.
The Brussels club are still looking for reinforcements, especially in defence. According to transfer expert Sacha Tavoleri, Anderlecht have their eye on Raf van den Berg.
The Dutch defender currently plays for Middlesbrough, where he is under contract until 2027. Sporting have enquired about this, but it has proven to be too expensive.
Tavoleri also reported that the Purple & White are still looking for a central defender and a goalkeeper. This will be worked on in the coming weeks.
The question is whether all this will happen in time. Anderlecht will play their first match in the competition on July 27 against STVV.
