Club Brugge and Roman Yaremchuk part ways. The striker has reached an agreement with Greek club Olympiacos, while Blue Zwart has also reached an agreement with the Greeks. The transfer will be officially announced soon.
Yaremchuk on his way to Olympiacos
Yaremchuk is set to sign a contract with Olympiacos for at least four years. This is a punishment, especially since the striker has had very poor seasons in recent years. The striker can also go to Trabzonspor, but he will choose the winner of the Europa League.
Yaremchuk deserves another big move, partly due to the good connections between his management at Olympiacos. The former AA Gent striker, where he excelled, has had a lacklustre recent years with Benfica, Club Brugge and Valencia. He has scored 19 goals in 108 appearances, mostly as a substitute, of course. Those are dramatic figures.
He failed at Benfica, Club Brugge and Valencia.
But thanks to the network, a new great employer is now following us. Club Brugge paid β¬17m for Yaremchuk in the past. The club earns around β¬5m, including bonuses. A huge loss at the top. Can he resume his career in Greece?
π¨ Except. It was agreed between # Club Brugge & #Olympiacos !
βπΌ4 years contract.
π₯ Medical tests will be conducted tomorrow.
