The Belgian Cats won’t be home for long. After their quarter-final win over Spain, they will play the semi-final on Friday. The opponent will be France at 9pm. The mini-final will be played on Sunday just before noon, with the betting on gold on Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm.
The Belgian Cats will find out their next opponent after the semi-final between Germany and France. The second meeting will not be with Germany, but with the host nation France.
The other semi-final will be between Australia (who beat Serbia) and the United States. The favourites beat Nigeria.
So we’ll get to the semi-finals on Friday. The Cats play France at 9pm, and the other semi-final (Australia vs USA) is scheduled for the other time (5.30pm).
If the Cats lose Friday, they will play the bronze medal game Sunday at 11:30 a.m. If they win the semifinals, gold will be on the line Sunday starting at 3:30 p.m.
