USA Team Attacks and Recovers Rider Trophy Game

The European team won the last edition of the 2018 Ryder Cup in Paris. Last year, the Valuable War was canceled due to the corona. Europe has won four of the last five editions. The American team last won in 2016.

After the first day, the United States took a 6-2 lead at Kohler. The European organization disappointed on Saturday, allowing the domestic team to start with a 11-5 lead on the final day. The American team needed only 3.5 points for the overall victory. On the other hand, the European organization had to present a historic event on Sunday to retain the Ryder Cup. However, that did not happen at Whistle Straits Golf Course, located on Lake Michigan.

U.S. Xander Schaufele lost in the first match of Northern Irishman Rory McLroy (3 & 2) on Sunday, but Patrick Cantley (4 & 2 against Shane Lori) and Scotty Scheffler (4 & 3 against John Rahm) quickly hid their European hope for a fight. Bryson de Gambio then defeated Sergio Garcia (3 & 2), after which Colin Morikova scored the required half point against Victor Howland.

Half of the American golf team had debutants. However, despite the lack of relative experience the striker’s team was a huge option. Eight of the twelve golfers are in the top 10 in the world rankings.

Europe captain Badrek Harrington had to rely heavily on experienced team players. He chose Spaniard Garcia to play in his tenth Ryder Cup. Also, the European team can count on Spaniard Rahm, who is currently at the top of the world rankings, and has recognized great golfers such as McLroy, Englishman Paul Casey, Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrell Hutton, Ian Boulder and Lee Westwood. In Kohler, however, they are far below collective expectations.
