Climate protesters block London’s busy roads as angry passersby splash blue ink on their faces | a stranger

Then suddenly fate boiled over: a man no longer tolerated the climate protesters blocking busy roads in London and spraying blue ink on their faces.

The demonstrators belong to the fanatical environmental movement “Isolate Britain”. They were sitting in the middle of the road when a passerby suddenly “baptized” them with a bottle of ink. One by one, the protesters succumbed to their fate.

Among the “victims” was retired doctor Christian (77). “It didn’t hurt,” he replied, “but the fun is different, of course.” “It’s sad that we have to push it that far. I don’t like doing it at all, I have devoted my whole life to helping people. Now I have to act because the government is not addressing the problem properly. I am very concerned about the climate.”

arrests

Protest actions took place on the A40 in west London and the A206 in Dartford (east of the capital; ed.). Nearly fifty protesters were arrested.

Insulate Britain, which is part of the Extinction Rebellion group, among other things, wants the government to isolate all homes in the UK by 2030 to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. These actions have been going on since mid-September. Meanwhile, four injunctions have been issued with the aim of blocking these barriers. Activists face imprisonment or a fine.

“Don’t worry about our worries”

“But we are not concerned about this endless series of court orders,” Insulet Britain said in a press release. We are not concerned with our fears. All that matters is that we take our responsibility in this crucial period.”
