From faraway lands, ferocious enemies, archetype selection and everything in between, there’s plenty to be involved playing REMNANT II alone or with friends in co-op. A new video released today provides an overview of what players will encounter and how they can survive in the unforgiving lands of the future.

REMNANT II from Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games arrives on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S on July 25, 2023. Players who purchase REMNANT II Ultimate Edition digitally will get early access and can start playing on July 21. Pre-orders for all digital editions will unlock the Gunslinger Archetype early.

REMNANT II immerses players deeper into a devastated world that demands a mixture of methodical and frantic combat, clashes against cunning enemies, and punishing boss battles. Enter battle as a lone wolf or even the odds by teaming up with two friends to overcome daunting challenges. Each time players start a new gameplay phase of REMNANT II, ​​they are transported to a new world built from a wide variety of locations, enemies, NPCs, bosses, and weapons. These dynamically built levels offer unique experiences where elements are organically woven into the world and story.

The updated Archetype system gives players more flexibility in their playstyle and allows combos to better synchronize unique passive abilities and amazing powers in co-op play. Multiple original styles can be unlocked, leveled up, and outfitted together for a variety of play styles.
