25-year-old Moroccan Iman Anis, better known as Bokeman, set a new record. She became the first Twitch star to reach 9 million streaming followers.
This is a new record for a woman who started broadcasting on Twitch in 2013. On March 3, Pokimane became the first female Twitch to reach nine million followers on the video site. Pokimane is currently the ninth most popular live streamer on the platform and is the only female in the top 20 on Twitch.
