In London, a local police horse was injured Thursday after an attack by an aggressive dog. The four-legged friend continued to bite the animal on the legs and torso for a while. Some passers-by tried to chase the dog away, but it was too hard. “It’s very bad,” said an eyewitness who was able to film the incident.

The Metropolitan Police released some photos of the horse’s injuries the next day. “We can’t stress enough the importance of keeping animals on a leash if you can’t control them,” the police said on Twitter. “Hopefully, the horse will be able to return to work once it has fully recovered, but not before.” The police then arrested the dog. According to the owner of the four-legged friend, the dog was “intimidated” after seeing a horse for the first time.
