Muzaffar Kayasan is the sad record holder for the Corona virus. Within 14 months, he underwent 78 tests for corona. They were all positive without exception. So he has been in quarantine for more than a year.
When Muzaffar Kayasan first became infected, he became so ill that he feared for his life. After all, a man is also cured of leukemia. This causes his immune system to be severely disrupted.
Despite cancer and Corona, the man remains optimistic and always satisfied, according to his doctor.
Muzaffar spent nine months in hospital and has been at home for five months now. There he was isolated in his apartment just outside Istanbul.
Due to the weak immune system of Muzaffar, he is very sensitive to everything. He was not even allowed to hug his granddaughter Azra this whole time. He can only see her from behind a glass door.

“I’ll play with you when I’m better,” he said when you come to visit and talk to her on a toy phone.
A study published last year in the New England Journal of Medicine showed that coronavirus patients with other diseases, such as some cancers, are at risk of long-term severe acute respiratory syndrome.
Because of the positive tests, Kayasan is not eligible for a vaccine. Turkey’s coronavirus guidelines state that patients who test positive for the virus must first wait until they have fully recovered before they can receive the vaccine.
