He says in his response that Dijkstra is deliberately ignoring whomever this report is about. “It has to be about the fact that the truth is not being spoken and that it still appears to be about business interests, not victims.” The woman filed a complaint with a person produced by De Mol’s Talpa media company. So it was already known in Talpa that there was a report. Whether John also knows about this or if the employee did nothing with the report, we don’t know.”
But according to Dijkstra, the company has been aware of abuses within The Voice for some time. For example, the woman was told in her complaint that she was “a thousand in two years”.
Earlier, there were also questions about a report of sexually dissenting behavior by band leader Jeroen Rietbergen in April 2019. Diekstra previously said that ITV’s statement – which the company was not aware of – was incorrect. The lawyer said that de Mol was informed of this report on Rittbergen in the presence of Rick Brog. Brug was subsequently hired by Talpa and now works for ITV.
The defense attorney says the woman is still considering filing a complaint. There are currently at least six police reports against Rittbergen, coach Ali B, and Voice program director Martin N. The Public Prosecution Office launched a criminal investigation with four suspects. This investigation will take “a significant amount of time”.
