Acer announces the Chromebook Spin 714. This is a Chromebook 2-in-1 with a 14-inch display and an Intel Alder Lake processor. The manufacturer is also announcing a 10.1-inch tablet running Chrome OS and the Snapdragon soc operating system.
Acer company supplies Chromebook Spin 714 with 14″ Display at different screen resolutions. There will be variants with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The convertible will be available in configurations with Intel Alder Lake processors, including Core i7s from this 12th generation Core.
Optionally, the device can be operated with a stylus certified in accordance with the Universal Stylus Initiative standard that supports 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. This pen can be stored in the docking station and then charged within 15 minutes. A fully charged pen should last 240 minutes. Chromebook Spin 714 supports WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and backlit keyboard. Other features include an HDMI port and two Thunderbolt 4 ports.
Acer will make the Chrome OS convertible available in the Netherlands and Belgium from August with a starting price of €879. An enterprise version with more security and management options will also appear in September for 979 euros.

Acer offers an optional keyboard case that enables the tablet to be used as a laptop and this device also works with a stylus, the price is ‘on request’.
