Acer launches Spin 513, Chromebook 315 and 314

There is a lot CES 2022 Acer unveils three new devices today Chromebook model. This new range includes Chromebook Spin 513, Chromebook 315 and Chromebook 314. They strive for the perfect blend of productivity, connectivity and entertainment and are equipped with the latest audio and video technologies.

Acer Chromebook Spin 513

The new Acer Chromebook Spin 513 features a slim design and durable aluminum case so you can take it anywhere. The convertible design also allows you to use your Chromebook in four different ways, depending on your environment. WiFi 6 ensures reliable connectivity to networks and hotspots while on the go. Additionally, the Chromebook features a backlit keyboard for low-light environments and a USB Type-C port for connecting to peripherals for data transfer and mobile charging.

The MediaTek Kompanio 1380 processor with eight cores provides enhanced multitasking capabilities. Thanks to the battery that lasts up to 10 hours and the exceptional performance of this device, users can be productive all day long. The productivity-boosting 13.5-inch VertiView display with a 3:2 aspect ratio offers 18% more vertical screen area, so users don’t have to scroll as often. With a resolution of 2256 x 1504 and narrow side edges of 7.7 mm, the image is very striking. The sound is good, too. DTS® audio and two mounting speakers deliver high-quality sound without distortion, and two microphones help you during video and phone calls.

Acer Chromebook 315

As the name suggests, the Chromebook is the 315th of the series, but that doesn’t make this device anything less than a good travel companion. The 6-inch FHD IPS screen is non-reflective, so it can be used anywhere, indoors or out. Optionally a touch screen is available for easy navigation. The large keyboard includes a numeric keypad, which is a great feature when doing administration or doing homework. The OceanGlass touchpad is made from recycled plastic. So you contribute to a better climate when you use this Chromebook.

In addition to the very large screen, the Acer Chromebook 315 is also equipped with the necessary audio and video technology for video conferencing. With a wide-viewing-angle High Dynamic Range (HDR) webcam, you’re clearly visible everywhere and DTS Audio delivers full, deep sound for video calls, gaming or streaming content. The latest Intel processors and WiFi 6 deliver reliable performance and connectivity, and up to 10 hours of battery life will help you get through the workday. With two USB Gen 2 Type-C ports and a MicroSD card reader, you can transfer files with ease.

Acer Chromebook 314

Designed for students, the Acer Chromebook 314 is powered by the latest Intel processors for powerful performance. Users can expect up to 10 hours of battery life, while WiFi 6 compatibility provides connection speeds up to 3x faster than WiFi 5.

The 14-inch FHD IPS touchscreen features an anti-reflective coating, so this Chromebook can be used even in bright light conditions. Narrow 8.1mm bezels keep the Chromebook compact and focus the user’s attention on the image. Users can navigate Chrome OS using the optional multi-touch screen or the OceanGlass touchpad.

Prices and availability

• The Acer Chromebook 315 will be available in the Benelux countries from March 2022 at a price of 349 euros.
• The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 will be available in Benelux from April 2022 with prices starting at €599.
• The Acer Chromebook 314 will be available in Benelux from May 2022 with prices starting at €359.
