American actor and director Vin Diesel (56 years old) is accused of sexual misconduct by his former assistant. This was reported by Vanity Fair magazine on Thursday. According to the woman, the misconduct occurred in 2010.
The charges were filed Thursday in Los Angeles. The woman, Asta Jonasson, was working for Diesel at the time while filming “Fast Five” (2011) in Atlanta. The actor, best known for The Fast and the Furious films, is said to have taken her to his hotel suite and pushed her onto the bed. The complaint states that she tried to stop him, then went to the door. He then allegedly came up to her and groped her breasts. He also allegedly tried to pull down her underwear, after which she screamed and ran to the bathroom.
The actor then allegedly pushed her against a wall. He allegedly forced her to touch his penis and masturbated in front of her. “Ms. Johnson was unable to escape and closed her eyes for fear of angering Vin Diesel by rejecting him again,” the complaint states.
The woman was reportedly fired hours after the incident. The piece talks about wrongful termination. “It was clear to her that she was being fired because she was no longer of use,” the complaint also said. “Ms. Johnson felt like a piece of trash being thrown away.”
The actor’s representatives and his production company have not yet responded.
