Juliet and boyfriend Justin Lunich, 48, were driving on dirt roads to Little Valley on April 14 when their car got stuck in the snow. They decided to spend the night in the car, but in the morning the battery was empty.
According to the police, the two tried to walk to the highway, but Juliet backed off when the soles of her shoes broke off. When Lonich lost his girlfriend in a heavy snowfall, he sought shelter and set up a campfire. The next day, after a while of searching, he found a dirt road, but again had to spend the night in the fresh air.
Finally, on April 17, Lonich reached the highway and drove to Susanville, where he reported their perilous adventure to the police. Then the search for Juliet began, This is what the police write on Facebook†
An officer was able to track the car three days later, and also revealed Gullit’s relief. According to the police, the woman was in good shape emotionally but physically although she had nothing to eat but a few tubs of milk and ice.
