PropertyHollywood Unlocked has apologized for publishing false news about the death of Queen Elizabeth (95). The site, which reported on Tuesday evening, based on sources about the death of the Queen, described the incident on social media as an “embarrassing situation caused by an intern.”
Hollywood Unlocked writes that the 95-year-old queen’s body was found on Tuesday before she went to attend the wedding of Vogue editor Edward Enninful. British royal family correspondents were quick to refute the “news report”. “I hate to tell you this, but that’s not how the King’s death is announced,” royal expert Marilyn Koenig wrote on Twitter. She added that Elizabeth would not attend the editor’s wedding, either. “You only go to relatives’ weddings.”
On Wednesday, the site said that the message about Elizabeth’s death had appeared in error on the Internet. She added, “We are working hard to prevent such a mistake from happening again. The intern was misled and the draft letter was posted in error.”
Although the news about the Queen is not accurate, she is not feeling very fit at the moment. Elizabeth has contracted the coronavirus and canceled some digital appointments on Tuesday due to “mild cold complaints”.
