In addition to Yemi Oduwale’s exit, “Dancing with the Stars” left a few surprises. Lotte Fanuyzimail, jury member Jan Koijmann, and producers also provided surprises.
1. A new love
Passion was central on Saturday, so 29-year-old Lotte Vanwesmeel admitted to something. The sexologist, celibate again after seven years since October, has met a new guy. This is not Frank’s dance partner. “There is someone I love,” she remained vague. “I don’t know if it will be more than that. If it doesn’t work out, that’s fine. But I open myself up to others again.”
2. A new profession
Jury member Jan Koijmann, 40, has been “peacefully” considering a singing career for a while. Suddenly this becomes tangible: The Dutchman released his first single without warning take me with you for the dance floor. “As a dancer, your career is over,” says Koijman. “This is my way of staying creative. A mini album of five songs will follow later this year.” Kooijman will remain on the jury.
3. New dance partner
At the end of the episode, Kat Kerkhove surprised the candidates in turn. “Next week is”switch week“.That means you two exchange dance partners.” It is not yet known what the new duo will look like.
