There will be a lot of transfers at RSC Anderlecht. The Brussels people are also busy assembling the core of the RSCA futures. One player will not be part of that.
18-year-old midfielder Steve Legbele has announced on Instagram that he is leaving the club. The youngster has already played for Anderlecht for 11 years, so he said an emotional farewell to the club where he played football when he was a very young boy.
“After 11 years at the club, it is with great emotion that I announce my departure from RSCA. It has been a difficult decision, but it is part of life. The time has come for me to start a new chapter in my career. I will do so,” he explained. “I would particularly like to thank the club, the coaches, the physiotherapists, the teachers and everyone who has been involved in my development during these years.”

“I am grateful for all the memories that this period has given me. I have left behind a part of my youth with my friends. I came here as a carefree kid, and now I am leaving as a young man. I am leaving Anderlecht, the town where I was born, where I grew up and where it all began,” said the player.
