Apex Legends introduces gifts and a new character booster

Season 15 of Apex Legends is about to begin and EA is releasing more and more information about what to expect with the new update. This time around, Respawn Entertainment announces the emergence of a new legend and that players will soon be able to gift various items in the shop to their friends.

The new character named Catalyst, also known as Tressa Smith, is a legend with a defensive mind who is skilled in performance and can influence the battlefield with her abilities. Respawn has also released a new animated short titled ‘Last Hope’ to introduce you to the new character. Catalyst is also the first transgender woman in Apex Legends and Respawn has teamed up with GLAAD – the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation – to ensure the most respectful representation possible.

In addition to Catalyst, the new season called Eclipse will contain more new content such as a new map, Battle Pass and thus the ability to send items as gifts to your friends, no matter what platform they are on or playing on. Please note that when gifting items, you can only use your Apex Coins and there is a maximum of five gifts per day.
