The resort’s mayor, Massimo Coppola, has issued a ban on “widespread inappropriate” behavior that annoys local residents.
Announcing the new rules, Coppola said he had witnessed “behavior that the majority of people would consider to be contrary to the decency and decency that characterize civilized life,” according to the “Times”.
“The continuation of this situation, in addition to causing discomfort and uneasiness among residents and visitors, could lead to a negative assessment of the quality of life in our city,” the mayor said. “And that could have a negative impact on the image of this place and the tourism.”
