This year, from October 11-17, the third “Belgian Fashion Week” will take place, and in this new edition, Creamoda and Mode Unie are taking off in a big way. More than 900 fashion stores and 100 Belgian fashion brands participate and gift vouchers and gift bags are available for those who go shopping.
You could say that the fashion sector has had more than a massive and eventful year. Isolde Delanghe of Mode Unie believes in that, too. “But the sector is now facing a new season and also a fresh start full of hope.” The stores are opening again, and we can shop again without a mouth mask and do the fun things we want to dress up for. Reason enough to stock up on Belgian fashion again.
For everyone and every budget
“It is time once again to draw attention to our Belgian brands, and how diverse they are,” said the Creamoda spokesperson. The organization found that Belgians do not realize enough that Belgian fashion suits everyone and every budget. That should change next week.
Leuven is this year’s host city and as of October 9th has gone the extra mile to bring the mall’s shopping experience to life with promotions and animations. Actress Kim Van Oncen is the ambassador and can be seen on window stickers at participating stores. You can, among other things, follow the Belgian shopping route and those who go shopping will be spoiled with plenty of gift vouchers and gift bags. In Leuven alone there are 1,000 tote bags full of coupons and gifts.
