Spiro Charleroi will face the Lovin Bears in the eighth final. It’s the only duel between two BNXT teams at this point in the tournament. This became clear after the 9/21 tie at Ghent.
Cup holder and national champion Ostend will meet Mailleux Comblain, who will appear in TDM2 or the third division. Aalst will handle Oostkamp (TDM2).
Bergen also faces Limburg United B (TDM1). Antwerp Giants play Royal IV Brussels (TDM1), Kangaros Mechelen vs Antwerp Giants B (TDM2) and Limburg United vs Kortrijk Tottenham (TDM1). Phoenix Brussels finally meets Falco Gent (TDM2), who stopped in front of Liège in the previous round.
The third division team is eliminated from the first division team 80-76.
Last season’s top 4 EuroMillions league teams were protected in this round. They couldn’t compete with another BNXT club. Two teams A and B of the same club cannot compete against each other at this point either.
The eighth finals matches will be played on October 29, 30 and 31. The only match between two BNXT teams will be settled in a consecutive match, and all other duels will be played in a single match. Top Division teams have a home advantage.
